Such a philosophy has enabled The London Basement Company to pioneer new engineering and underpinning methods allowing clients to maximise the space within their home. Clients looking to maximise space are increasingly considering creating basements below gardens and driveways too. Traditional underpinning techniques are being supplemented by other engineering methods such as contiguous bored piles, reinforced concrete walls, slabs and composite decking.
Under House (Retrofit)
Whether you have an existing cellar or not, in most instances we can excavate below your property while you carry on living in your property as normal. The amount of extra space you want to create is entirely your choice, we can dig below the whole footprint or under a specific area to create the amount of space you need.
Sub-Basement
You are not restricted to a single level basement; we have experience in creating multiple level basements, including installation of swimming pools, plant rooms, wine cellars and storage. These are installed when a client doesn’t want to take away vital living space from the main basement area.
Under Garden (Open Excavation)
Should you prefer not to excavate below your house, we can construct a basement below your garden, or if the creation of a basement under your house does not fulfil your need for space, we can extend your basement beyond the boundaries of your house by carrying out an open excavation and extending out below your garden.
We are also experienced in new build basements, carrying out the open excavation works for the creation of a basement below a new property.
