London Basement were very pleased to help out designer/artist, Will Shannon, on his project for the Jerwood Foundation, to build a small pottery workshop from which he would then make pottery items using locally sourced clay. We were delighted to be able to provide the perfect clay for his project, straight from one of our sites in Hampstead to his workshop, ready to use.
With the left over clay from the pots, he then made the clay tiles which were used to clad the exterior of his workshop.
We are pleased to have been able to play small part in such a fascinating project.

Posted in : newsFive of our surveying team and two architects were on hand at one of our London Basement projects in St Johns Wood on 26 April to meet various architects, clients and hopefully future clients. It was a busy day with over 50 people visiting the site, which has been finished to a structural shell and is currently being waterproofed. Given the success of the day, we are planning to do another one soon.
